The Britannia Coconut Dancers

 Traditional Boundary Dance will take

place on Saturday 26th March, starting

from the Old Travellers Rest in Britannia.

Accompanied by Stacksteads Brass Band

we will be departing at 9am sharp,

descending through the towns arriving at

the Glen Service Station (Waterfoot) at

8pm approx for the grand finally.

Helping Northern School celebrate their

Annual Summer Fair on Saturday

14th May from lunchtime.

On the 10th September we are heading

 up north to the stunning city of

York to joing Ebor Morris for their

Tradional Dance Festival.

Dacing through the stunning street and

Squares York has to offer!

Starting early with a procession at


Join the Nutters as they host The Crown


Starting at 12 noon on Sunday 3rd of

July at The Crown Inn in Bacup.

The Nutters invite you to a day of dance

and music as they are joined by unique

teams troughout England.   

Parading through our home town on

Sunday June 26th 2016 for the

Bacup and Stacksteads Canival.

The parade will start from

Broadclough Mill, Burnley Road in Bacup

And will lead to Stubbylee & Moorlands

We are joining the Saddleworth Morris

Men on their 42nd Rushcart on the 21st


This weekend event is great fun all the

family. The rushcart is puled by the

hoast and their guest throughout

Saddleworth and the surrounding villages.


We are joining the Whitworth Morris for

their Rushcart ceremony.

The parade starts on North Street at

lunch time and finishes at The Civic Hall.

At the Hall the dancing continues with a

fun fair and stalls for all to enjoy.

On Sunday 20th November we are

jumping on the trains at East Lancashire

Railway for Lancashire Day!

Meeting at Rawtensall at 10:00 am for a

dance on the station before we depart on

On the train up to Bury for a reading the

of the proclamation and a day of dance.
